I'd like to move my rear end back on my EB about 6 inches or so. But don't know how to handle the sheet metal issue. I am not that into looks, but at the same time I don't want my friends to give me shit for screwing on the placement (I've cried wolf one too many times). So what have you guys done to address this?

how badly is your bronco cut right now? are you running leaf springs, coils, coilovers or something else? if they are leaf springs where are you going to mount the shackle. anyway wildhorses makes a great big cutout flair called gorilla war flares, but you probably already knew that, start at the front of what is already cut and just cut yhe back. i dont think it will be that noticeable, but there i go thinking again:grinpimp: :grinpimp:

if its already beat, no one will notice (especially if you stuff the wells with some nice sized meats:D )
If its not beat but has a small cutout for the fenders, or non-cut fenders - it would be easy so mask it using the flares as stated above.

I think the sheetmetal wuld be the easy part. I would be worried about mounting the coils, links, whatever. Leaf springs wont work if you move it 6 inches. Also, you have to move the crossmember and then what to do about a fuel tank????

It isn't beat that bad (body wise) and the rear is cut. I am going with a 3 link and coils in the back. I don't know what I will do about the gas tank. Perhaps have a new one built to fit. I like the idea about the war flares, that should help off-set them. Thanks guys!!

as far as the gas tank problem goes, how attached are you to running your top. is a fuel cell out of the question? trailquest makes all kinds of custom cells that you can get with an electric fuel pump all ready installed if your injected, or for that matter maybe even for the stock location. if you have any whoo's about fuel spillage when you are off camber, the roundy round boys use some sort of check valve that prevets fuel from running out of the filler neck and the center of the cell when it is upside down. if you have any other questions about this check valve i will talk to some of the dirt track guys around here, remember 9 out of 10 stock cars have a 9 inch, hit these guys up for parts when their hard up.:rasta: :rasta:

Good info. I have a back seat (for the kiddies) otherwise that would be sweet. I wonder if I could find one that fit in the stock location...
