Towing with a locker

Is it going to kill me?
my f-250 is only 2wd, and going some places it gets muddy and i get stuck :(
Thinking about a locker in the rear but don't know how it would pull

I've seen several discussions on this board about the pro's and con's of towing with a locker. Try a search and see what you come up with.
