Just put the 4:1 gears in my YJ 4.0/999/300 and witht he 38's and 4:56's this baby doesnt like to stop in the ugly spots. How do you lower the idle? Yes I have taken the throttle body off and turned the screw down until the AIC motor now sets the idle. I cleaned the throttle body and put a new gasket in. This did drop the idle a bit, but would love to get another 200 or so RPM out of it. Any suggestions????

You might look into www.offroadengineering.com (http://www.offroadengineering.com) idle control. I bought mine used like everything else I own but it does work good for either raising or lowering your idle speed. Also, works well for cranking up the idle with my onboard air. Just a thought.

Sorry about leaving this alone, I was on vacation My idle is around 750 RPM in gear warm at a stop light. It is fine and there are no vaccum leaks. I need that idle controller thanks for the link.
