How long would it take you do do a set of arms?

And does the customer understand the problem

I work as a handler where that thing probably went, Rockrat.

You didn't use enough tape (Lemme guess, you shipped 10 pounds of steel in a loose-fitting box and only used about 36 inches of tape?), it busted open, and the guy working on the conveyor belt - who probably has never seen a high steer arm- taped the fawk out of it like you should have.

Who the hell would steel ONE high steer arm? :shaking:

And remember, it's AT THE AIRPORT. How's he going to sneak through the security checkpoint with a steel brick in his bag?

If it's heavy, and you don't mummify the paper wrapping - er, cardboard box - with tape... it WILL get fawked. That simple.

Not flaming, just pissed that everyone assumes that because part of the shipment is missing, it was theft.

Example: While it's not quite this simplistic now, when FedEx first started, it didn't matter where you shipped to. If you shipped from one side of Chicago to the other, it came through Memphis. ;)
