You could probably get 15k to 20k if you found the right buyer, beware of putting on the Spector site I just sold a V8 FJ40 on their and I must have gotten 50 wannabe e-mails asking stupid questions.

You won't get 15-20k that is for sure. You would be lucky to get 10k. I think you need to ask yourself how badly you need the money from selling it cause you will take it in the shorts, hard. You would have an easier time selling a stock 60 (much larger target audience). I'd say around $7k, if you can find the right buyer. Probably not an ebay buyer, but who knows.

Here might be another way to estimate it, take whatever you paid for the vehicle, depreciate it some, add half the cost of any parts you bought (don't count labor) and you might be close.

I'm with Ken on this one. Modified 60s are a PITA to sell. V8s, custom suspensions, driveline stuff, etc... is all expensive to do. But you will get little return on your labors. A friend of mine bought a 60 with a ZZ4 350 (I think close to 4k) that was bought new, a Edlebrock injection system ($2500), OME, two sets of wheel, a fancy stereo, etc... The Previous Owner had over 12,000 into just the drivetrain. He only put 4,000 miles on it. My friend paid $9300. I put my V8j60 up for sale a couple of times. It is pretty nice. Not as cool as suspension as yours but OME, bullbar, swingout rear bumper, locker, etc... and I'd feel fortunate to get $9000 for it. The Market for Cruisers sucks right now. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

RockMonkey, your truck rocks btw, forgot to mention that before. I just think it might be tough finding a buyer. You can always start a little high and move down if it doesn't sell. Best of luck.

WOW! That sounds reasonable. Wish I could use another 60 for a trail rig!
