Finally I see a opertunity and gun it past one of them. I make it to wendys....get my jr bacon cheese burgers and start to leave. Then all them fucking ricers pull in and surround my jeep. Mind you I'm all by myself. Guiess they got pissed that I cut them off. So they start talking shit and I get out and open my tailgate and grab my machete. No ways I could take all these fuck bymyself so I had one damn good deterant! Anyways they keep talking shit and wont move theyre fucking cars. I tell them in a not so nice way that if they dont move theyre shit I'd driving over the,m. I get back in with my machete and lock my doors. They keep talking shit with theyre ugly little bitches repeating everything they say. I put my shit in 4 low and thell them its they last chance to get the fuck out of my way. I creap upto the fuckers in front of mes bumper and as soon as my tire touch his bumper the dude jumps in and guns the piece of shit in reverse. I hit the gas and got the fuck out of there. Now I'm here enjoying my cheesebugers....yummy. From now On I'm keeping my Mossberg 500 in da jeep! Stup[id motha fuckers!

I just wanted to go home....they were between me and home. I didnt want anyshit but theres no way I'm gonna stand there and get my ass kicked. I'm a big motha fucka....but with that many guys I dont care what size they all are, they'd eventually take me down. So I put something that I can use very effectivly between me and them. I didnt confront them...they came after me.

Had it been me in that situation, I'd probably not have given them a warning, and not have given that homo a chance to back his car up. Then I'd end up having to buy him a new hood, but I don't give people like that one inch. I've seen on TV where the cops swarm in on street racers and start impounding/towing ricers.
This is not effective because
a) When the owner gets his car out of the impound he's just gonna race again.
b) Even if the owner doesn't bail the car out and it goes to auction someone else will pick it up, it's back out on the streets and the cycle continues.

Wouldn't it give more of an impact to just line the cars up in a parking lot on the spot and start crawlin' over 'em while their owners are forced to watch?:laughing:

Years ago, my dad's uncle was in a really bad part of town in his nice, new car. At a red light, several guys came out into the street & just blocked his car. They weren't gonna pull him out of it, but they wanted that car & had no intention of moving until he got out & gave it to them. Now, I should mention that Uncle Phil was a pro boxer before WWII (#1 middle weight contender actually) & escaped capture 3 times during the war. He's no pussy, but 7 to 1 ain't good. He sat through a couple of green/yellow/red sequences before he finally backed down the street & took a LONG, FAST run at 'em. Said he wasn't stopping for nuthin'. As he approached at 80+, they decided they didn't need his car after all & got the fawk out of the way :D

BTW, had some goober trying to goad me at the light last night in his riced out Neon. Dumbass slept at the light & I just left him sitting there w/o even gettin' on it at all LOL.

It would be interesting to know what you could have gotten away with there if anything had happened. Technically, you were surrounded and could have been in fear of your life - especially if they were threatening you. Drastic times call for drastic measures.

Not everyone carries a cell phone. I wouldn't have hesitated to plow through/over their cars though. If they are threatening me, it was a legitimate means of self preservation.

That is kind of why I want to know what my options are legally in a situation like that. Knowledge is power and all that.

I also thought of something my Dad taught me a long time ago. Even in the bar fights I have narrowly avoided I haven't pulled a weapon (I ALWAYS have a knife). Having a knife or gun is good protection as long as you're sure the other person can't take it away from you and use it against you. This is more prevelant with a knife, but something to consider with a gun.

Even in this instance - if the "gang" had actually taken him on and dragged him from the vehicle - he would have provided them with a machete.

The first one was cool because "most" of the main cars could actually be fast in real life. RX7, Supra, Eclipse (if it were 'actually' turbo - which that one wasn't), and I am throwing in the blue Maxima because I am partial. ;)

All of them could have 400HP+ in real life without engine swaps.

In the second movie, all I see is a bunch of slow ass wannabe cars with heavy ass body kits and the gayest fawking light show on the planet.

There are actually car clubs out there that modify cars and sit around talking about wrenching - not unlike a 4x4 club. They go to the track and don't start street races and you see a minumum of vehicle "flare". I guess it wouldn't be as exciting of a movie - but it would be nice to see all those flashy ass ricers getting their asses handed to them by the guys that know their shit.

My friend was in a similar situation. A bunch of guys blocked him in (1 ton quad cab chevy diesel dually on 33's)...yeah that was a mistake as they started to get out he just fucking plowed through and then over the lowered s-10 in front of him...

It was all legal and legit because he went and called the police then found an officer. It was self defense and he feared for his life.

Some lil punk ass bitch blocks me i'll do the same thing..If i can't beat them with my mag light between my seats then I'll just warn them and Ramp test them...

I was at a DSM meet down near Chicago and there was a pretty good turn out. Chicago's DSM clubs have a little more Rice then they do around here but "usually" it is pretty tame.

Guy in a Camaro SS pulls up with a body kit and loud exhaust - start talking shit. I think he did actually beat the first guy he raced. Then he got spanked by an Eclipse and an RX7.

The funniest part was the guy in the RX7 nobody knew. He just pulled up and started talking about cars. The guy in the SS pulled up and started talking shit.

BTW - the cops up here....well...they suck. they tend to be very good about breaking up parties, parking tickets, and giving out speeding tickets.... but dont expect them to get anywhere in less then 30 minutes when ya actually need them. Plus from what I heard talking to the officers that caught the drunk driver that hit me a while back, theyre very understaffed too.

I was very tempted to hit some riced out neon today because he decided thathe was better than me and could cut me off going 50mph through town.

Just talked him out of it...but I was fully prepared to plow through his truck to get the hell out of there...although I am glad I didn't as I found out who he was and was friends with later...one of those guys who never really goes away...:rolleyes:

Ok here's a story. Once I dated this girl. It didn't work out. She broke up with me. Then decided she wanted me back. I wouldn't take her back. This angered her. It angered her so much that she decided to make my life a living hell. She started dating this one guy who drove a s-10 extreme. One night I'm crusin around my hometown with my present girlfriend, and the ex is crusin around with her boyfriend. He starts honking at me and following me around town flashing lights and doing all sorts of shit to piss me off. So finally I get tired of all their shit and start to follow them. They speed away and I chase them through town probably doing about 50 or so. Yeah that was stupid, but I was pissed. Followed them down a back road, where he thought he could outrun me. No. I got along side him, then passed him. I stopped at the next stopsign and debated getting out and having a little "talk" with this prick. I decided not to, and instead I went on my way. They left me alone for the rest of the night. Turns out this d00d driving the s-10 was the son of a cop. Well daddy shows up at my door at 5am wanting to talk to me. I basically told him to fuck off, (he was off duty) as his son was the one starting all the shit. So for the next few months I had to be very careful of what I did while driving, as every cop now knew what I drove. But in the end, the kid never fucked with me again.

You CAN make them go away!!! Bad things happen to those who try to start something with the wrong people. Things happen, what kind of things, don't know for sure but things do happen.

had a similiar thing happen with a buddy of mine - good 8 years ago...somehow me and the cadillac man (friend that owned 15-25 old school cadillacs) pissed off some err hispanic people downtown. They followed us into a park - o shit one way in we were trapped. They (about 4 cars) all put there highs on us and started callin us out..my buddie gave em 10 seconds to move there shit and told me to put on my seat belt.......well they wanted to kick our ass and wasnt moving. Brian dropped his huge boat of a car (60's something caddi) with his 500+ CU engine and ran through these guy cars like there were butter.

- best thing in the world to watch one guys face as he dove out of the way and witnessed his precious sweet g-ride get mashed something bad....as we were speeding off shots were fired :eek: gawd that guy was a crazy mofo and wasnt the last time we were shot at!...cadillac took some damage to the front end but held up quite well considering - those things are tanks.

An S10 Extreme is actually kinda cool for a 2wd truck. Gives it a street look. Makes me cry to see one with a body kit and a fart can. IIRC, they come factory with some tranny tweaks, and a HO 4.3L.

Nice. an asshat just like you back into my car at a stop light because he thought it was funny(I could see him laughing the whole time). Then he takes off and tried to get away.I call the police and reported him as a hit and run. When the cops caught up to him he tried to say he hit the jeep into reverse while reaching a lighter or something. He wasn't laugh when it cost him 3 grand for hitting me and he got his jeep impounded for driving with out insurance. Just think this could have all been avoided if he had just left me alone.

There's a Neon car club out here I've been looking at. They go out to Firebird Raceway on "open" drag nights. Most of the guys I've seen run low 14's to low 15's. There's one running High 12's, low 13's -- no turbo, no NOS. If you look at their cars, most of them you couldn't tell apart from a stock Neon.

These guys are gear heads. Last time I went to the race track, they're pulling all the crap out of their trunks... Drag slicks, tools, spare parts (spare AXLES :D ). etc... It was just like being on the trail.

And a 1999 Neon R/T. The Neon R/T has been "retired" from daily driver status, so I'm looking at a 2.4L engine swap + Turbo, my goal is a sub 11 sec car. It will remain mostly stock looking, with the exception of a new nose, needed to help channel the air through a big front mount intercooler.

Meanwhile the SRT-4 does low 14's from the factory (and I've heard of one hitting high 13's) and factory Stage I & II kits available this fall that won't void the warranty and will take it into the mid 12 sec range...

The Fast and the Furious movies are both jokes. I've seen low 10/high 9 sec 4 cyl cars at the track. These cars have seen so much weight redux that they practically flap in the breeze and are so tempermental that you'd never want to drive it on the street. There is no way the cars dipicted in FNF ran "9's". Mid 11's to Mid 12's I could believe.

fwiw, the rx7 in the first movie -could- have..

i personally knew a guy with a hideous (and heavy as hell) body kit on his rx7 that ran 10.1s.. that was a year ago.. he might be in the 9s now.

hell.. there's a guy that ran 10s on stock turbos in an rx7..

I do not carry a gun, because I lack anger management (ONLY when I feel threatened) Otherwise I'm one of the nicest, passive guys you 'ld ever meet.

But I have to admit, when I feel threatened, I do not think too clearly, the only thing that goes through my mind is how am I going to come out on top in the situation. One time, me and this guy I was in the Army with, went on a hiking trip to get Out Of The CITY. So here we are in mother nature walking back to his truck. We are in a National Park which you have to PAY TO USE. There were three cars parked on his passenger side of the truck with loud music playing. As we walk to his truck we get the nastiest stares from the group of guys. You know, the look of "What the Fawk you looking at" stare. And I can look tuff, because I KNOW my homies got my back. Both of us did not even see these people until we were going home. We both did not even have to look at each other, we just knew it was going to be trouble. Anyway, I get to his passenger's door, I open the door, (mind you there are three guys standing all BUFF 2 feet behind me and I had to go out of my way to walk AROUND them and being careful not to hit one of them as I open the truck door). This is the point where my heart is pounding so hard because I for one, am fearing for my life, and two thinking to myself, no matter what happens I will not let my buddy down, and I will disregard my own safety for his. (Yeah it's a hooha military thing, and I'm sure a lot of you would understand.)

Now back to the movie! :flipoff2: I open the door, grabbed the .45 from under the seat and tossed it my buddy. He took the .45 unsheathe it, and put it on the floor board, then he proceeded to take his hiking gear off like no big deal. After the "Thud" sound of the .45 landing on the Trans hump in his truck, all of a sudden the 3 BUFF guys behind me are scurrying away, (they saw it, because they were standing so close behind me) and are now on the other side of the their car. I figured my buddy had a better chance of using the gun then I did. And we both knew what the other was thinking and willing to do. We got in the truck and drove away.

We were pissed off that these gang bangers came to the park (2 hour drive from phoenix) to start problems with a couple of strangers for no reason. I hate it when I'm minding my own business and some asshat decides that he needs to start trouble.

Was it a smart thing to do with the gun, :rolleyes: no not at all. Should of just got in the truck and drove off and not even look at them. But there is always that "What if"? If it would have become physical, me and my buddy would've got our asses kicked 2 of us against their 10 to 12 were not good odds. It times like these, I think I'm level headed and thinking straight, but after the fact when you have time to evaluate the situation you realize just how stupid you really are.

Well, it is a movie, so some exaggeration is expected. Only one of the cars I mentioned comes in 4cyl trim BTW (Eclipse).

Supras, RX7s, and Eclipses see 9s but I don’t think there are many street legal ones that do. All of the cars I mentioned could hit low 12s or high 11s in street trim though, which would be much more believable. I know it bugs the hell out of the DSM guys that the Eclipse wasn’t turbo though. The little ADD kid said something about Bungholes Maxima doing 9 seconds too… while I hate to admit it – the Maximas are just now seeing high 11s. I haven’t seen track numbers for the Turbocharged ones and I know they are hitting 400HP+ now – but I doubt very seriously it was even close to 9s.

The Supra wasn’t hitting 9s or probably even 10s for that matter. I think it has somewhere in the low 500HP range of power. He would have to be one helluva driver to hit 9s with that. I think the Supras hitting 9s are somewhere around 700HP?

There was that goofy looking white car in the first movie (some kind of Volkswagen) but I don’t know what it was… Golf maybe? I thought it was ugly as hell so I didn’t pay much attention to it.

Still, the first movie did have some entertainment value – and I did enjoy it.

Ryan is right, the FC PD is EXTREMELY understaffed. My mom's accounting firm just picked up their account and she was talking with them one day. at any given time there are only 5 patrol cars on the streets. that is all they have the resources for.


IMO, you did the right thing buddy, and no, you should NOT carry a gun. but if you do.....don't aim for the drivers.......point the fucker at the car that is riced out the most (ie: most bolt ons) they cherish the cars more than their lives.

Impossible, An FC3s or an FD3s will never run 10's on stock turbos, they are too small and too tempermental.

The FDs can get close, with a full compliment of goodies (FMIC, FCD, hi-flow fuel pump, opened airways, lightened) but I don't understand WHY anyone would want to go that fast in ANY of these cars. no one is saying he didnt have every other mod there was.. and that the car wasnt lightened.. or that he wasnt running about 8 pounds more boost than is safe on the turbos, but he did do it.


oh.. and pazuzu.. that's weird.. my last fc felt stable all the way up to about 150.

It's also a Vert, they're a little less stable in the frame, at 120, I get some body noise and creaking.

I also usually have the top down, wind buffeting at 120 is enough to knock your head around a bit, makes tracking the road more difficult :D

Like I said 3rd Party "Production" most of these cars CAN be bought turn-key (or could have been bought when they were being "produced").

The McLaren is a "Production" automobile... but at $1mil a peice, definitely out of my price range... :D WAY OUT.

That reminds me of a buddy of mine. His buddy went out of town, and left his truck (big chevy on 44 tsl) with him. He took it to a football game at St. Pius X. He was with his girlfriend, and these guys kept on talking all this trash on her. So he got really pissed, and jacked one of them in the back of the head, and started to leave. So as they start to leave they get cornered in by 4 ricers (diagonally). They get out with these bats, and hit the door, so he guns it in 4wd, and runs over the hoods of the 2 cars in front of him...

I don't remember whatever happened about that.:confused:
