: Half cab Sammi Pics ?
flexlarson 11-22-2001, 09:34 PM Im interested in pics of a sammi with a half cab setup.
Im considering making a divider behind the rear seat out of steel or wood and putting a truck sliding rear window in it. (mini pickup type setup. )
Anyone seen anything like this?
flexlarson 11-23-2001, 08:37 PM guess not
Rockrat 11-23-2001, 09:45 PM you might want to look at Sue's truck at breeze ind. she has a zuki pickup might give you something to go on
tZUKnami 11-23-2001, 10:15 PM I saw one. A guy had chopped the rear 8 inches or so off a hard top. Then he cut his body right behind the seats and welded the other rear from the hard top on. Then he fabbed a bed and there you go. It really looked pretty nice actually.
twistedmetal 11-23-2001, 11:16 PM I saw one during one of those 3 A.M. "I am searching for something but it's not in the fridge must be on the internet" things! It was a fiberglass half top. I'll go do one of those searches now. You'll owe me.
gunracer1 11-24-2001, 10:47 AM here is a link to the pics i had posted a while back. we have still not got it up and running. but we should have the dana 44 in the front in a week or two. mike

flexlarson 11-24-2001, 02:11 PM that looks like what I want to do only nicer than I expected.
Thanks for your help. This gives me some ideas
I use to have one of those roofs. They look very kewl if not white (hehe) but they take away a lot of space and the back seat. On my truck we built a rack that went accross the top to carry luggage when I went on trips and it worked really well.
flexlarson 11-24-2001, 07:20 PM where did you get that top. You are right it would look better if not white .
graydiger 11-24-2001, 07:36 PM In my search for a winter hard top I came across this site that sell the hard top in the picture for $900. here's the site www.quadratec.com anybody have a used full hardtop in the northwest for sale? Take Care,
Don

"Im considering making a divider behind the rear seat out of steel or wood and putting a truck sliding rear window in it. (mini pickup type setup. ) "
was the original question - a mini truck type set up - what is closer than an actual Zook Tray Back?

I didn't get no stinkin message :D Hey that picture brings back the good old days. That top was awesome, keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter, even survived my first roll with a few scratches. Ended up selling it for $400. It included a front hard top as well
