I have installed a 6-1 header and figured out most of the vacuum lines. From what I understand the two lines comming out of the diafram on the distributor one retards the timing at 2500 rpm the other advances the timing at 2500 if in 4th gear.(this is according to the toy f2 emissions manual 4-20). So. Can I simply plug the vacuum ports on the distributor and let it sit in the middle is that ok? Or should I reconect the vsv and bvsv. Also what should I do about the anvancer port on the carb?
My green beast is alive and runs ok. It has less power on the highway and a minor backfire between shifts since I installed the header.
