What kind of mog is this?

Its going for 1500$ with original unimog cab/bed on the side. Its a jeep-project never finished.. It has the original benz diesel engine in it.

Any comments on axles and such? What can you guys make out of the pics?

Not enough info for me, Cab pic would help alot but BEST THING is to next time your there look at the outer frame on the passenger side.. between the bumper and front passenger wheel somewhere is the vin#. stamped onto it. If it starts with 404 or 411 then you got a Strongggggg clue.... Get the whole number and may be able to get more clues as to what it formerly was.

It appears to be a 411,421 or a 406. The rear axle is not a 404. The transmission could be a 6,8 or 20 speed. If the diesel is a 4 cylinder it is a 411,421 or early model 406. Look on the front frame rail as coachgeo said the first three numbers are the model number.

If this were in the states i would buy it in a heartbeat for $1500.

With the small axles it looks to me like a 411/421.
