I've added dual batteries and I want to upgrade from the stock alternator. Have '99 TJ. Was hoping to find a 140 to 160 amp unit for a reasonable price. Thanks in advance.

How good of a deal do you want? How about a Delco CS130A? 130A and found on many '86 and later GM products. About $25 at your local P-n-P.

I got a 175 amp G3 altenator (internally regulated) from Ebay for $125!

I'll check and see what it takes to fit the cs130a into the Jeep. I'll also check on ebay. Even $125 is way better than $300+ !

Try Powermaster. My fiance' got one from them for his Jeep and it works great. Its a 140amp. I think they cost like 150 bucks!
