Allright, I am aware of the search function, but haven't found the info I need. I'm being hired to swap a carbed 350 sbc into an 82 CJ7. The owner wants to keep the factory four speed- I know it's not a great idea.

My questions are pretty simple. I need to know what model xfer case and trans he has, and where the best places are to order parts.

I suppose I'll need a set of mounts, a trans adapter, exhaust, radiator and some wiring changes. I also need a new wiring harness, as this jeep has caught fire, so is Painless the way to go? I'm sure I'm missing a few things....

I have experience with just about every project except this one, so any links to other posts, or other help is appreciated! I have found lots of information by searching, but nothing that really helps yet.

Let me start by saying that this should be posted in the Newbie General 4X4 Discussion area.

With that said, contact Advane Adaptors and Novak. These two will answer your questions easily.

And welcome, :flipoff2: Newbie :flipoff2:
