My bud and I were out riding today and dropped into one of our local technical trails. I made it about 100ft and hit one of the first rolling dip type jumps. (its only about 8" tall) - Upon landing, my front tire pinch flatted, my bars turned right and I slammed down on my head and the whole left side of my face. I broke my helmet and my sunglasses, and bruised my right leg pretty bad where it got pinched from the bars going full right turn...I have 5 stitches in my eyebrow, and can't open my mouth enough to eat much. My eye is completely swollen shut:(:(

This is my worst crash so far - I'm still trying to get all the rocks out:(

 Quit playing it up for sympathy. You won't get it here! :flipoff2: Maybe you should stay a way from two wheeled vehicles. You don't seem to have much luck with them.

There's something to be said about roll cages! You need one of those "Bubble Boy" suits:flipoff2: Man, that eye's so big, you could probably see the future, at least now anyways:) Too bad you couldn't have taken that spill on a "Greenie's" property, then you could have at least made the point of "Environmental Impact", literally, with your own crash test, soil samples and all.:) It's not like you needed another reason to stay home. What you really should take a picture of is the bump that took the Yellow Sub out. How's your wrenchin', uh yeah, wrenchin' hand:flipoff2: :flipoff2: Be sure to keep plenty of cold:beer:  's on it.

I'm not looking for sympathy - you of all people should know I don't give a rats a$$ what other people think. I just posted it because it was my worst crash - then emailed it to everyone in my address book because people were calling me saying "why didn't you tell me :crybaby2:"

you can stop by anytime, it's not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon...

What trail was it?

We were on Hummingbird trail. I wish I could say I was at the double 30" drop offs/stair step and bailed, but this was right off the main fire road (between 60 and 100 ft from what I can remember). We were just getting ready to get some speed and hit the woops at the beginning of the trail, just before the technical stuff started. I hit a small jump and my front tire popped on the landing. The rim hooked the ground, my weight transferred and I slammed over on my head and slid down the trail. The bars were turned left so my right thigh got bruised (deep) from landing on them, as well as my right thumb. upon impact with the ground, my visor broke. I'm guessing thats what cut my eye brow open (2 inches lower and I might have been blind:eek:)... I'm still not sure about the road rash on my chest and neck that was under my shirt...

Kevin, the bike needs a tire at the least, possibly a front rim and rotor. I didn't even look at it and its still at tim's house... I hope I didn't hurt the caliper or the fork... oh well, now I have a x-mas wish list ;)
