Earlier in the season there was a lot of concern /speculation. Now
that there's been a few events- does it seem consistent. Are top teams using the rope often or only on Phil's walls of death??

I think it is working pretty well. It is easier on the spotter being smart about using the strap rather than using it all the time for insurance. I think it looks cooler for the spectators as well.

Since most of these events are won or lost by one or two points, we've been trying to use the strap sparingly. With that said... we used the crap out of it in Moab. Not using it would have cost us a lot more than the 2 points we would have gained.

Thanks- it still cracks me up every time I see "Newbie" on posts from guys of your ummm... caliber. I was just curious- see you in Farmington- maybe I can break into the top 5 for a change.:D

This was exactly what we had in mind with the rule, just adds more to the competition. If you let it role for a 2 point bonus, shame on you......
