Since when are "stripes" Tech?:D

Check with a Body Shop... they may have aftermarket sources. In my opinion, the only "stripes" on my rig are "Arizona Pin Stripes" (obtained, mostly in California).;)

Go to another dealer. Do yourself a favor and find a good person in the parts department and deal with them every time. If after alot of searching you still can't find the stripes..........forget it.

Paint the goddamn truck in primer and be happy. You'll only whack it up later anyhow. Save your money for important things - like neon, woo-woo exhausts, and fartcans.

Talk to the body shop not the parts guy. You will want to have someone put them on for you unless you are real good with stripes. If you are talking the big graphics they are pretty spendy.

And stripes are :rainbow: go drive the fawker in the woods already.

what a bunch of cocks. Painting your ride drab primer with black "nascar" wheels is about as trendy as fags in hollywood. What difference does it make to any of you pricks if if I want a nice looking trail rig? When is the last time you saw a truck in the woods with factory style paint? Maybe I should go with bright yellow or even lime green, something original. I ask a seemingly simple question and get bashed repeatedly. What a kick ass board you guys run. I have been 4 wheeling for 12 years so the newbie jokes and rainbow stripes are just lame. Thanks

You got some good advice... even if you posted a STUPID NEWBIE question in a Tech Forum...

Umm.... Where do you think the body shops get their parts? Oh, that's right, from the dealer!... that is if they use quality parts.

When you go into the dealer parts counter ask for the guy who does the parts for the local body shops... That's the person to talk to. There's normaly at least 3 guys working at the parts counter in a dealership, general counter sales, guy for just the dealership service parts and an area wholesale guy<-- this one will most likely have the knowledge to find your stripes.

I'd have to say that most of our wholesale sales go to local body shops, big money there! Yeah, I work for a Toyota dealership too.

There's the good info..........

Now, stripes for a wheelin' rig are sort of :rainbow: But to each his own. Good luck in your search.
