Can I flip MOG Axles upside down?

I know this sounds stupid. But, I am building a mid engine competition buggy. Because the motor will be running backwards I will need to unbolt the portals and flip the axle housings upside down. Are there any issues I will have like the Cable lockers on the bottom, Oiling ect that you guys can think of? Thanks in advance, MOG 404's. RUN DOG

It must be possible. I´ve never done it. I think you have to drill a hole for pinion bearing oiling. I can not see a problem so far because the pinion is right in the middle.

But!
If you like to have to turn the opposit direction, just take a Dana or 9" center and you are done!!

Yeah, the only issues I can really think of is watching oil drain out of the cable locker mechanism that is normally on the top of the diff.
