So how do you run the steering on a d44 with the hummer rims? I saw one setup but not real detailed in a search I did. So any pics would help as well as ideas

We ( the guy's at OTT Industries...) made a set of arms for a friend who was running a hybrid frontend with Hummer rims and 38" swampers.... basically the tie rod attachment point is inboarded enough to allow the TRE to clear the rim edge.... kind of a dogleg look... in this particular application he was only running 2.5" of lift ( with MAJOR fender trimming ) to clear the 38's.... made for a stable truck with good clearance..........

did having the arms inboard like that cause anything weird with the steering geometry?

He drove the truck to Moab with this setup (from Vancouver B.C.)
Truck drove fine.
