Alright,
It is a mid 90's Dodge 1500 with a D44 front end and my buddy's hubs are shot and I am replacing 'em. The nut on the stub shaft is a 43mm, but I only have a 1 3/4" which is close enough.

We have a 3/4" handle w/ a 3' cheater bar and the nuts won't come off to get the hub off. My fat ass is jumping on the end of a 3' cheater bar and it isn't budging. I even heated the hell out of it with oxy/acet and nothing.

Initially it moved a half to quarter turn, but nothing since. Can't move it back too much either. Yes, we took the cotter pin out. There is/was no damage to threads.

How the hell do you get the nuts off!
Thanks
Jason

i had the same trouble with mine. i ended up taking it to a front-end place where they used an impact wrench. when that didn't work, they switched over to a bigger impact wrench and a different airline. i don't know what the difference was between the airline, but that guy had a hell of a time getting it to come off even still. i just hope i never have to take mine off again until i get the right tools.

good luck!

I got an 1 11/16" socket and used my 1/2" drive Crasftman (Ignersol Rand) impact wrench with about 110 psi on it..... came off no problem, wrench is supposed to put out about 650 ft-lb of torque, which would be equivelent to a 220 lb mna standing on a 3' cheater bar, however, mine is only two years old, you may jsut need a longer cheater bar.

For big problems, I use a bigger cheater bar. Havent had to take mine off, but I have an 8' bar that I think would do the job. If that doesent take the nut off, I dont know what would.

i don't know what the difference was between the airline

Fatter airline, more air, more torque. I can't get full poop on my IR twin-hammer with my 3/8" line and 1/4" fittings. My buddy's got the same gun on 1/2" line and 3/8" fittings and can do way more.
