i ran this post in gen diss. a few weeks ago with no luck, so i thought someone here might know.on my 95 z71 with a d44 front,,i hear this scraping noise between 30 mph and up. it sounds like a rotor scraping a backing plate,but nothings rubbing. it started like 6 months ago. it is only from the drivers side and its loud enough to hear it over 39 boggers. ive replaced the caliper, put on new pads,had rotors turned. still nothing has changed. and there is no signs of metal rubbing on anything. any one have a clue?

Warped wheel hub? I know a guy that replaced all the stuff you did and he had a problem with it pulling to one side when the brake was applied.

dunno,, when i turned the rotors,,,,they had no runout. i even checked them with a dial indicator.

it dosent pull when the brakes are applied either,,and putting on the brake dosent make the noise go away . it stops when im under 30 mph
