CJ79.

You wouldnt happen to have any other springs down at your shop. I need some XJ springs. Or Like some TJ 8" lift springs.

BRB,

The spring rate on the the TJ coils is less than that of a XJ. I know this from guys who run rockwells. The TJs coils will simply not handle the load and stress of rockwells. The XJ coils do a little better, but the ZJ(grand cherokee) handle the rockwells the best..

I have a set of 4" TJ Front coils, under no load they are 19.75" tall.

thanks, no rockwells here. i heard that there are several spring rates along the tj applications, with anywhere from 120-175 lb rates, depending on options/ engine and stuff. thanks for the info--brad

Yes, that is true. The 2.5L w/ soft-top has the softest springs. The 4.0L w/ hard-top has the stiffest. No clue on the measurements or spring rates though.
