I have a 78 GMC One Tom Four Door, I was told the back doors were almost impossible to find, Well today at the junk yard I noticed that the same year Suburban had what looked like the same rear doors,,, Is this true? Can these doors be interchanged?

Also, What Suburbans came with the 454??

The rear doors are inchagable between the 73-79 body style...as long as they "both" are rear doors. The 454 option was usually in the 3/4 and 1 ton suburbans/trucks.....

Doors will interchange. You'll have a better chance finding a 2WD 3/4 ton Sub with a 454 than a 4WD.

Ya, that's fine by me,,, all I want is the motor and the body parts:D
