And no stock 4-6 weeks to get them.
NT&W may suck!

what is it about cheap ass beadlocks you wanna try ? what makes them cheap and what are they sacrificing to produce them at a lower cost ? they either need to build them with less labor ( thrird world country ) or use a less expensive material or skimp on the process.

so if i was to build some rims in taiwan with cheap child labor out of inferior material and used shoddy fabrication you would be intrested in buying some of these from me ?

my experiance as well. they going rate on a real bead lock is in this range.

as a viable alternative you can build your own using a DIY kit from guys like www.rockstomper.com

i have seen them used and they offer great quality and are the real deal at affordable prices.

At that price, you have to ask yourself "Why do I want beadlocks?" For the looks? If so, then that borders on being a poseur...kinda like a 6th grade little girl stuffing her training bra or some dipshit in Las Vegas putting a sock in his crotch. Are you REALLY gonna air down far enough to worry about popping a bead? I never air down that far, but then again, there aren't too many rocks to 'wheel on here in Mexico...err...I mean South Texas. For me, beadlock wheel swould be an absolute waste of $$. I could get a set of solid aluminum rims and some really nice meats for the price of a set of beadlocks and a set of WalMart tires.

i still don't see a bead lock wheel with rim for $ 99 how about a link ?

who has DIY beadlock kits for $50 ? link?

why should i give you a break ?

i would rather smash a $250 wheel that can take the punishment against the rocks than smash a POS $100 wheel that is gonna bend against the rocks. you get what ya pay for. i have had cheap ass bead locks before and the rings were thin and crappy and i folded them in half and the rim centers bent very easy. the reason i run locks is so i can beat my rig on hard trails and make it home. getting stranded because of a crappy rim is not my idea of run. enjoy you cheap ass beadlocks.....if ya can find them.

Eaton 15x10 steel beadlocks are $130 most places I've looked. For $130 they are a damn good beadlock! I ran them for a few years them passed them on to my brother which still runs them. Same wheel, same ring; beat to shit, gets home everytime.

great 'lock for those on a budget. :D

page 101 on the newest edition of Jp.

National Tire and Wheel
Eaton "Real Beadlocks" 15x8 - $99

But from looking on the website the fake locks are the ones for 99 bucks and the real locks cost 120.

Thanks Weasel, found 'em and they're real tempting. I'm still not sure if I want to go with steel wheels again for the rocks... mine are just getting bent to crap and are now causing a shimmy and it's to the point a BFH isn't enough to keep them straight enough for the street...

I've been running the Mickey Challenger wheels for 5 yrs and had good luck. The edges are starting to get scraped up though.

Mickey was sold to Cooper though and I think the bastard stop making the forged wheels.

the bart beadlocks from Summit are $50, but that is only the beadlock rim. I wouldn't use them for the type of stuff we do, they are more of a drag racing beadlock.

For those that wantt a cheap but a quality off road beadlock. Just go RockStomper.

I don't know that Id consider 130 dollar beadlock to be in the area of a good wheel either .... Its only 31 dollars more per wheel. Gimme a break.. If I was gonna spend the hard earned cash on a decent set of beadlocks, for me there are only a few manufacturers out there that make quality stuff... The ones I can think of would be allied, champion, OMF, Walker, and rockstomper.

Eaton may not be equivalent to some of the wheels you mention but don't try to convince me they don't work. It's quality to price ratio is right along w/ the others. It's a little less expensive and therefore the quality lacks a bit.

But, those can wheels take a beating! I've personally watched them get it on the trail for the last 7 years and their still straight. Well worth $130 in my book.

BTW, I run the Mickey II beadlock, not on your list either but works for me as well....:D

mickey thompson does not not build bead locks so some body else built the lock on a mickey rim.

I've got a set of the Bart beadlocks I picked up used for cheap. After searching here the main complaint I found was thin rings that flex between the bolts when torqued and broken bolts (probably due to the flexing of the rings). Before I mount them up I'm just going to drill them out to double the number of bolts (only 16 bolt rings stock) and I think this will aleviate most of the problems people have encountered with them. Already have one layed out for drilling, just have to find the time to do it.

Anyone have any thoughts on how well this will or wont work?

I started a thread asking this once before and no one replied so I'll try it again in this thread.

Figure the wheels were cheap, if a simple mod will improve them, why not.

Call Mike Eaton at NTW he will square you away. Stand up guy and took care of me. Been running my locks for a couple of months now and love them. No problems and the tire (39.5 boggers) doesn't get above 6psi on the trail. The centers to me are right on. I've had more than one aluminum and steel wheel center pull apart and these Eatons wont even come close with the reinforced center. Just my.02.
