Will a C6 from the back of a 300 straight 6cyl bolt onto a 351W?

TIA

The c-6 ford trans have the same internals regardless of year, engine size etc. The smallblock c-6 internals can be used in the bigblock case and vice versa. A good step in using one of these trannies is to up grade to the SVO gear reduction kit. This lowers first gear to 2.72 :1 and beefens up the planetaries, as well as alowing for one more clutchpack. The gear reduction alone is like going from 3.50's to 4.10's and you still have the benefit of the stick third gear ratio.
