NP203 looks like is has been worked on recenty by the front input shaft (it looks newish), turns freely and shifts $150 OBO
Is it a 32 spline input? Is it the range box only? Shipping to 85340?

it is a 32 spline input, it is the complete t-case, I will send you an email of it in a few min

If you are seriously interested in it let me know and I will call around for shipping costs otherwise my zip is 21154 and you can call around :) I think that it will need to be shipped by truck but I will check the weight and see if it can go UPS ( 150 lbs MAX).

I will get some estimates of the 203 weight and shipping costs. If necessary due to shipping cost considerations - would you be willing to seperate the range box and just ship that?

Got the picture thanks.

Sorry but I am new to all this stuff and don't know all the terminology. What is considered the "Range Box"? Is it the center section ? It weighed 230 lbs. So I would seperate it and just send the range box to cut shipping costs or I couuld unbolt the 3 parts and ship them in 2 boxes. It all depends I guess on what you need off it.

The range box is the front case that has the shifter on it. It takes the output shaft from the transmission. That is the part that I need. It would save a lot on shipping.

How much would you give me for the range box?

How about we get a semi firm price on shipping the range box, then we can finalize a total based on how much the shipping will cost me? We can do that on PM. Or better yet PM me your phone and I'll give you a call to make a final decision after we get the weight and shipping on a range box. I'll look around for a estimate so you don't have to actually take it apart until we agree.
Thanks
Mark

Shipping weights (http://coloradok5.com/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=partsforsale&Number=572543&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1)

The estimate from ck5 is 87#. That sounds pretty close to me. I have rebuilt them before but it's been awhile. Are you near a Forward Air terminal?

There is no range box or chain on the 203 (they have been sold). All that is left is the back 1/2.

I dont really know its condition, it came with a jeep that I bought. The guy had it bolted to a NP203 and was going to run a BBC.

Was the Jeep running when you bought it, or did you tow it home? What Jeep did it come out of, CJ7? Does it have a torque convertor? TIA

The Jeep was the start of a mud bogger a guy was making to run up at the Buck in Quaryville PA. It was just pieces when I bought it. The tranny and tcase were bolted togeather and sitting in the back of the wrangler tub. He was waitting on a motor when he got tired of working on it and sold it to me.

There is no torque converter.

I would take the pan off and take a look inside but I dont know a damn thing about transmisions. I have pictures of it if you want some. If your still interested let me know and I will find out shipping costs or you can. I ship from a loading dock in 21050

Is the shaft for the 4L60 the shorter one to use with a 203?

millerlite
10-21-2003, 10:31 AM
It is alot shorter than the 2wd version that I have but I'd dont know if it works with the 203. I will take a pic tonight and send it to you.

They are M.O.R.E. part # 98105. I couldn't find the old pair that I had so I bought these and then I found the old ones. So they are brand new never used.

Go to www.mountainoffroad.com for a good pic. But if you want a actual pic of them let me know and I'll try to get you one.
