i just put my engine back in....i think its called an air injection manifold, but its the part that bolts on the header studs.....i have an 84 22r and the old one had holes on the bottom that got the air out of the exhaust i believe.....with the header i have (dont know what it is, was free in the bed when i bought the truck) i found a new AIM that is probably from a efi engine( so im assuming the guy bought the wrong header).....my question is anything short of cutting and sodering and making my own piece that works with all the different connectors, can i just block it off, will it pass smog in cali with it blocked, anything get hurt by blocking it?????

will NOT pass smog in cali with it blocked,

yout catalyst wont last as longand more pollution.

need pic of header...does it have other type of holes (late model) for the aim? some do, some don't

it does have the holes, will get pics asap
