looking to get a welder for c-mas. wondering where i should get one from. online??? how do you guys like the hobart. i now they are made by miller. i think it would be a nice, cheep welder for what i would use it for.

Damn good welder. I got mine for around $700, 5 months ago. Penetrates great and gets the job done.

Got mine from Prax Air Inc. (local welding store) I've seen great prices on them at weldersmall.com and other places though.
