The studs do not come off. You'll eaither have to use some sort of tubing and bolt the body to one side of the tubing and the frame to the other, or make a longer threaded rod to go up thru the frame and your spacer.

Ran into same predicament I estimated were the studs came
through and drilled them out took about 20 min with a sharp drill bit then dropped new 7/16" bolts through the holes if you want
i can measure the exact points and post em to ya you only have to do this on 6 of them the other 4 are just bolts 2 behind headlight bezzel 2 in the tailgate opening total lift 2" cost about $20.00 and a few trips to the hard ware store

make new mounts, drill new holes and grind and reweld your origanal mounts back on......or use 2x3 square tubing and bolt the body to one side, and a regular bolt to the frame side, if you put in a body lift you should also ad more mounts, like on the rear shock mounts, raise the mounting bar and drill some holes and bolt it down.

What other hardware did you use? these bolts just go through from the inside of the cab? isn't the sheet metal alot thinner than the member that the stud is atached too? Wouldn't the floor deform when you tighten the bolts down? Is this a safe practice?
I can't see this as being a good one to promote.

I drilled directly through the center of the old bolt which leaves
the original square pad which is mountd in the channel under the body persay so basically your just installing a longer stud

SOUND LIKE TO MUCH WORK TO ME JUST MAKE A 1.5 INCH LIFT AND USE THE BOLTS ON THE FOUR CORNERS TO HOLD IT ON WORKS GOOD YOU WILL NEED A TOTAL OF 10 BLOCKS I MADE OUT OF 1 1/4 TUBE AND WELDED FENDER WASHERS ON THEM AND JUST PUT THEM IN PLACE :massey:

Does the bolt go through from inside the body?

Just stack both body bushings on top of the mount. Instant 1.25" lift. Come up with 4 blocks and bolts for the front and rear mounts and you are ready to go. I ran that set up for 2 years way back when I had 3" lift springs and I had to clear 32s. I had zero problems with it.

After seeing what a roll did to my body mounts, I would try to get all the body mounting points bolted down.

I rolled my zuk when it was setup with the body lift. It hit HARD..rolled about 6 times. I didn't see any damage in the body mounts. But, I did take it off afterwards, as I wanted to get my COG a little lower...

Turn your caps lock off... unless you normally give your friends advice by YELLING AT THEM IN ONE LONG CONTINUOUS RUN-ON?

Got punctuation?
