Who has JC Whitney Wagoneer Springs? [Archive]

How thick are they? I have a set of stock 7 leaf springs and theyre 2" thick at thickest point. Having problems with the steering clearing the springs. Want the extra wheel base but dont want to necessarily use spacers on the high steer. MY other springs, RE XD springs are only 1" thick, believe theyre only 4 leaves. Are the JC Whitney springs inline with the thick stock leaves?

The 7 leaf waggys are ~2" thick.

Think about it, for a 7 leaf pack to be only 1" thick each leaf would have to be ~1/8" thick. How sturdy does that sound?
