Hey all,

This weekend in Gardnerville Nevada, about 45 minutes south of Reno, is the Carson Valley Days celebration. As part of this weekends celebration there is going to be a rock crawling exhibition put on by the 20/30 club and the Sierra Stompers (local four wheelers). There are plans to have 7 different courses ranging from easier to difficult. There is a charge of 10 bucks per driver to try the courses. No drinking until after you run the courses. The profit money is going to be donated to a young boy in town who has spinal cancer and is in need of help. If you find the time and would like to have some fun please make your way over here and locate Lampe Park. Almost anyone in town can give directions to it. The event is starting around noon on Saturday and about 9AM on Sunday. I will check this post and update when I can. I don't want to leave anyone hanging. It's a fun celebration to attend anyway so why not wheel and give to a good cause. Check out www.carsonvalleydays.com for more info on the weekend and events.

I didn't look at the site, but is there a place we can donate to the cause? I don't have time to make it up there but would like to help.

ditto. Can you set up a paypal account or something. If there's going to be a raffle or something like that, I'd be glad to donate a piece of audio/video equipment. Email me offline if so.

I will look into it. So far the 20/30 club is taking care of the $$$ end and we're providing the entertainment. I will get back ASAP about donating.

Jake Jake call me on my cell or leave me a message at home. I'm doing the smog routine this morning on the beasty in Carson but I can help you out later.

Basically Paypal gave you a link for payments when you set it up and you can use that link to give to people to donate funds to the account you set up. Not the link to administer your account. ;) You can revisit paypal and there is a place to set up a link if you didn't.

PS I'm trying to arrange some time so I can go next weekend. :D

Stopped by Shaffer's and talked with Tin Bender about a cage. He thinks he'd like to do an exo. Which is ok by me except for the one trail with a gate. Also talked about some other mods to lower the beasty a bit. :D

I am trying to shoot for next Saturday off so I can run with you guys but I'm fairly certain I'd have to be at work on Sunday. :( I won't be able to make the thing this weekend unless a major miracle happened at work, like the building got burnt down. But who knows maybe I can get someone to cover. We shall see.

Yep now we gots a shitter & a shower. We uptown now. Did she show you her new flower seat covers? She is definately girlifying her Jeep. Debbie can ride with Mary if she wants. Speaking of that gated trail... We need to set up a date to run that.
