As I understand it Bridgestone owns firestone not the otherway around. Firestone was bought as a wholy Owned Subsidary back in 1988. Get your facts straight dude.

I've run several sets of Bridgestone MT's never had any problems with them. I never had them in the rocks because they were all on tow rigs(3/4,1 tons). But they did do fairly well in the mud. I mean they are a hell of alot better then AT's but don't hold a light to Swampers. I ususally got 45-50k miles out of them even on heavy ass tow rigs.

If'n you pansies haven't run them yourself, then shut yer' holes!

I have run Bridgestone Dueler M/T's (32x11.50's) for well over 50k miles now with EXCELLENT results.

After countless trips to the Badlands in Indiana, 2 weeks in Moab, and many other trips I have never popped one or cut a sidewall. I did scrape a sidewall hard enough to cause the inner ply to split which led to a bad blister. I was still able to drive on it for some time before I noticed it, swapped on the spare, and got a replacement from my dealer.

No, they ain't Swampers. But if you're looking for a daily driven tire that also hangs with the BFG's and Goodyears offroad, the Duelers are excellent. I've had them in rain, snow, mud, ice, rock, etc ... all with excellent results. I can, first hand, highly recommend them.

Would I use them again? No. I've got my eye on MT/R's next. IMO, the MT/R's are a better tire, both for every day driving and off road.

As far as thinking less of the Bridgestones because they're affiliated with Firestone, that is complete BS. I've had those tires up to 100+MPH on MANY occassions even after off road abuse and have NEVER had a problem.

Even after 50k+ miles, they still have plenty of tread to last a while yet although without the sharp edges, they are getting a bit more skiddish in snow, but no more than a standard mud tire.

No experience with the Duelers, but I have General Grabber MT's and like them alot. They grip well, and are wearing very nicely. BUT, I did cut a sidewall on one, and when I go bigger, my intention is to hit more rocks. More rocks = no more Grabber MT's for me...I'll probably go bias TSL. I won't be too worried about street miles since I'll only be driving it to work 2 days a week. Got a beater car now :D

I loved my set of 33x12.50/15 Bridgestone Dueler M/T's. They worked well in mud, on the rocks at Disney, OK, and on the road. The only reason I won't buy them anymore is because the biggest size they make is a 33. But I would definately recommend them to someone who wheels their daily driver.
