Hey all, I just bought a set of 37-12.50-16.5 Goodyear MT off of a hummer. Cost me $250 with some crappy rust spoke wheels err I mean chrome spokes. Anyway I wanted something skinny to replace my swampers during the winter when I go skiing and tow the sleds etc. Can anyone who has run these on snow or ice comment on their performance? They have 75% tread so I thought maybe I ought to get the center treads siped if I can find someone who will do it. Anyway the price was right and they should be better on ice regardless just becauser they are so narrow. Sorry if the snow tires seems offtopic to those who live in more temperate climates but hey ... Later

They are a good allround radial snow and ice tire. Not the best, but they work well. I think you will be satisfied.

I have have run through about 3 or 4 sets of 37" MT's. I live in Alberta, and we get lots of nice snow and ice. (About 2 feet new today!)

It was a heck of a deal. Around here though all you have to do is watch the sooper ads thrifty nickel classified ads or whatever they are called in your area and good deals do show up. I got a set of axles 8 lug hd 44 front and ff 14 bolt for $150 for the pair not too long ago which was twice the deal that the tires were. Good luck huntin for deals! Later
