I just bought a 79 F-350 4x4 pickup. I bought it primarily for the front axle but would like to fgure out what the rest of the running gear is. Is there a Ford site that I can put the VIN # in and get the build info? Any other links or experts that can help me? I've done a number of different searches but haven't come up with much. I'ts a V8, Borg Warner 4spd., and the rear housing has a 60 cast into the diff although I've been told it's a 70. Any info would be appreciated.

Should have D60 front and D60 rear. 4 spd will be T-18 or NP435. TC should be married 205. Engine should be 351m or 400.
