I am looking for ways to reduce the body roll that I have on my ZJ. I"ve laid it on its side once, and every since I've been very sketchy about off camber situations.

Would adapting coilover springs/shocks into the rear end provide any more stability to my ZJ? I've seen all sorts of coilover suspensions at the ARCA events, but usually those coils are way taller than what I would need. Can you get coilovers built to any length or is there a minum length?

Would I just need to adapt the spring pad on the axle and then fabricate some sort of mount for the shock at the top?

Thanks

Cody

no reason you can't get your current coil springs to work for you. it is gonna take they same amount of caluclations /trial and error to dial in either spring setup.

to answer your questin thougt yes you can get just about any length coil over and mount them like you are thinking.

also check out a sway bar setup like the currie anti-rock. it may help band-aid your current setup.

I thoght about the Anti Rocks or some other swaybar and that good for 2 reasons--it may stop me from maxing out my shox so badly and it will help reduce roll.

However,
I am not currently running the rear swaybars and I have no idea how they attach. (I was on a beer run or something so I missed the removal) Many have had problems with them taking off the wheel weights, and puncturign tires. I need to start looking into how I can fab up those anti-rocks back there. Something has to be done if I'm ever going to go the places I want to.
