: XCL kits are available to do yourself
Steve N 11-26-2001, 12:14 AM I spoke to Black Diamond about a customer wanting to do his own install. Now that Warn doesn't own B.D. it's no problem. If you can fog a mirror I (or any B.D. dealer)can sell you an XCL kit. The price went up depending on configuration. Still if you don't have to pay someone else to do the install it's much cheaper.
Po' riggity 11-26-2001, 02:32 AM Steve, I responded to you about this on JU, but I figure you are on here a lot more often :D I have a buddy and myself may be interested in the kit. Could you email me with prices for both of us? He is running an 8.8 rear, and a D44 front, and I'll be running D44's front and rear.. my email is Jeepsndew@netzero.net
Very interested!

Sundowner 11-26-2001, 08:54 AM did they revise the kit so it doesn't chow the bushings in the arms anymore, or is that still an issue?
RoCkSkuLLz 11-26-2001, 09:19 AM These kits wont be ready untill the middle to late December according to Black Diamond.

Do they have a website yet?
Steve N 11-26-2001, 09:51 PM Sundowner,
I personally have fixed the problem. I will work with Black Diamond on the fix too. We have a guy in our club that used to blow a bushing, or two on every run. He's now done a full weekend in the dunes plus wheeling, plus a Rock Crawling comp with no problems.
Scott, call me I should have the new price sheet by thursday. 800-504-5337.
And yes they should be shipping in the next week or two. They do have some combo's in I believe. At least now is the time to order. Just remember this mantra... Honey ALL I want is an XCL kit. :D
Steve dumb question is this the coil spring kit? I am assuming it is.
What does XLC stand for. :usa:
Steve N 11-26-2001, 10:41 PM Matt, Where have you been? yes it's the coilover used to be "Warn Black Diamond" kit. And no idea what XLC stands for. For that matter I'm not sure about XCL either :D :flipoff2:

Just remember, its not a coil spring kit, such as pro craps sorry excuse for a kit, but a COIL OVER kit, which is much much better :D

1 800 504 JEEP :D
Steve N 12-10-2001, 07:05 PM I just added up a kit for a stock YJ 30/35 diffs. with medium springs, with a non weld it yourself crossmember. My price I am "supposed" to sell it for came to around $ 4,000. If you call me preferably not on a monday (very busy) I'll price one out for any application you can dream up. Keep in mind there are different prices depending on your diffs and options. As surely if you call us we'll try to make the deal happen (price it right)
Can you order the kit for one configuration and then change it in the future when you upgrade axles? For instance, if I were to order the kit for my stock D30/35 would I still be able to use it if I went to 44s or 60s sometime in the future?
jeepNicK 12-10-2001, 10:12 PM hey thinkjeep carries the kit now. they talk about it in their new cataloge.
