difference between a np 231 and np 231c

It looks like I can get my hands on a 93 4.3 v6 with a 700r and a 231c. The motor is a fresh Mr Goodwrench with 100 miles on it.
I am planning on swapping the whole setup into my 87 wrangler. My question is I dont know what to do about the electronic controls for the 4 wheel drive????

Will my 231 bolt up to the 700r??

Can I adapt my linkage to the 231c??

Any thoughts??

never even thought about the speedo gear!!!

Was mostly trying to figure out to do with the 4wheel drive shifter. I did search couldnt really find any info. Except for switching out all of the internalls.
