: Back Halfing a Toy. Need pics
Muttrk 06-15-2003, 11:21 AM I have a 82 Toy that I want to cut off just behind the cab and build a new tube frame from there back. I plan on going 4 link with coils. I was wondering if anyone had pics of one already done for some ideas. Thanx in advance

Brandon 06-15-2003, 01:28 PM I like that one, now if I could make it so I could still slide my top off I'd really like it. My in cab cage is too small, but I am not a fan of exos. Maybe just a partial exo over the cab through the fenders so when the top is off the only "exo" bars are in front of the windshield.

Muttrk 06-15-2003, 03:06 PM Hey hiluxman, do you have any idea where the tubes that run into the back of the seats run? I looks odd, maybe I'm missing something.
Ben Holloway 06-15-2003, 03:12 PM woult say it is running into a interior cage very cool idea, much stonger that way

hiluxman 06-15-2003, 03:15 PM Muttrk,
the exo goes just around the outside of the body and then cuts thru the cab, behind the seats to the other side and back into the exo. additionally he has one diagonal brace inside that i think went from the frame or slider thru the floor and across to the other side thru the roof to the exo. i didnt get any pics of the inside though, sorry

Muttrk 06-15-2003, 03:24 PM Thanx for the help. It just looked like it was stabbing the passenger and drivers seats lol. I like the all pro idea but I can't afford the coil overs. The military isn't the greatest paying job. I think I may do a combination of the two running coils. This seems like I'm getting into a big project again. Just some info on what I plan to run: 4.3, th350, not sure on case yet, 44& 9" with it backhalved sitting on 38's with 5" all pro front springs. Here is a pic of what it looks like now. Who says you need lift to fit 38's :D
Muttrk 06-16-2003, 03:42 AM Does anyone have anything else for this? I need some more ideas. Is anyone running coils instead of coil overs?

Muttrk 06-17-2003, 08:46 AM Does anyone know what kind of springs these guys are using? The Toy with the bed on it look great. I don't plan on running a bed but it still looks good. Thanks TablerockToy for the pics
Here is a shot of mine from a couple of weekends ago.
