: CJ- Longer Rear Shocks?

Hey all,
The time has come for longer rear shocks, and I'm wondering what your solutions have been. I have a 1" body lift, and I'm not a real good fabricator, but are there any bolt on solutions? I have a pair of front shock mounts, so I'm thinking of just bolting them on to the frame in a higher location than stock. Thought about putting these outside the frame, if I have room. (axle is 60" wide)

Do the MORE brackets for YJs work on CJs very well?

Thanks,
Bryan

if you move the shock to outside the frame you will get LESS articulation for a given shock length. I would just use the fronts on the inside of the frame mounted forward of the axle a good distance to give a nice angle to the shock, this will give you more effective travel and should allow a longer shock also

i built extended shock mounts from 2x2 square and punched my 9012's up through the floor. i can just reach behind the seat and change the adjustment of the shocks. yes my own custom "in cab" controls. :D
