Disco 06-16-2003, 07:07 AM I have done it. It's really difficult to figure out though, you take a die grinder, gut a blendah, and hook the die grinder up to it. BAM, quick Blendah!!!!!   :D
Bertha the Cruiser 06-16-2003, 07:10 AM That's what I was thinking, but like I said, I hadn't seen anything and wasn't sure my Logic was sound (I question my logic often lol):D
Thanks man!
kjp98TJ 06-16-2003, 07:14 AM just toss a generator in back of the bus and run a regular one along with your curling iron.

1988YJ 06-17-2003, 01:23 PM It's not rocket science. I've been running a 22,000 rpm blender for years. The only trick is to select the right blender. Look at all the bases and you will see a couple of variations. The one you want will accept a 1/4" socket extension in the base. Donate your favorite extension and slap it in a lathe, turn it down to 1/4" so it will fit in your 1/4" die grinder collet and start pumpin' out Margaritas and smoothies. It helps to have a York, air tank and the most efficient die grinder you can afford. Once the whirr of the blender sounds, ice and tequila usually show up...

Well I have a 10 pound Co2 Tank and I just grabbed an Ingersoll-Rand 25,000 RPM Die Grinder I think I'm well on my way:D
Thanks for the ideas!!
nasvik 06-17-2003, 03:42 PM I camped next to a guy at Jeeper's Jamboree last year that used a Chevy starter as a blender stand. Wired hot, push button on, sat a blender right on it. He had it bolted to his front bumper next to the winch. Besides making KILLER margaritas, it served as a spare.
Disco's blender looks good on my Jeep, eh? :flipoff2:

JTJeep 06-17-2003, 06:10 PM I always had fun hooking up an old weedwacker motor up to a blender. :D but this sounds like more fun, and a little less annoying.

exactly.
and the original bar style metal oster blenders work fantastic and don't break. you might need a leather glove to hold the blender without getting frost bite.
A york at or just above idle and a 2gal tank can make non-stop margis.
