I have seen several with them centered. I don't know the year break downs or the rules to which they obeyed, but I have personally seen them both ways. They also had different amounts of offsets. Same goes for Chevy vans. J. J. DRM 11-27-2001, 10:37 AM FYI - it is not uncommon to any axle to have the pinion slightly offset by 1" to 2", so don't be surprised if what some person calls "centered" it is really not *exactly* centered... As far as what could be in the rear of a Ford van - if it is 3/4 ton it would likely be a 60, or possibly a Sterling 10.25 in more recent years (I think?) | |
