as some may know i am starting a new job, i got an email from my boss asking for my SSAN ... thats my social right?

SSN = social security #

I assume that the a is a typo

SSAN = Social Security Account Number..
Remember.. with Social Security, that is essentially a savings account...


Yup.. and the only people that need to know tha tare you, the government and the Human Resources rep that helps you fill out and process your paperwork. Your boss has no rights to that information.
