I have never even been to Tulare. I know so many people with Scouts that I haven't ever felt the need to go look at more. We get together with NorCal Scouts every year at Hollister Hills to kick off the sunny season and I get to meet a bunch of new people there... That's pretty much the only organized IH event I have been to. Maybe I will plan a trip next year for the hell of it. I do need to get out more often. Well NOW you're talking some sense! RMIHR is ~300 miles from Moab. So, haul yourselves over to Salida, arrive Friday night.. spend Sat/Sun at the show, take Monday and do a trail ride in Colorado, then on Tuesday truck for Moab.. spend a couple days in Moab playing, then head home. That's how I swing it. :D There's been over 200 IHs at RMIHR the last couple years.. kind of an impressive thing to behold once a year. I'm sure you could find someone to cruise over to Moab with, too. I ran into Schizo and his Spotter (from the comp pics last weekend) and George W. in Moab after RMIHR last year.. along with Bill Thebert. | |
