So what do you think??? A sami? I would like to get a toyota but there too expensive for me. Plus I need a rig semi built.   :(

Can you get a loan.

I want that Flatty real bad But I don't think I will be able to come up with the money.

I think you will regret selling that jeep It looks very clean I don't think you would be able to find another one like it in the future.

Find yourself a toy and finance it and keep the jeep.

You should be able to find a decent truck for about 3,000

I have many vehicles now that I regret selling.

4 cyl or I-6 Cherokee would be good. Don't get a 2.8L v-6 they are garbage. These little rigs do damn well offroad for what they are, suprised the hell out of me. I also say get a loan if at all possible, you will always regret selling a flatty!!!!

Maybe you could consider an older Isuzu Trooper. The 88-91 have a 2.6 or 2.8gm v6, and the 86-87 have a 2.3L carb motor. They are fairly dependable depending on mileage and the older 86 or 87 are very inexpensive, maybe about 1-2k

You can get a toy for like 3 grand!

Get a 85 or eariler Toyota Truck. It already has a solid axle and can be modified fairly easy for wheeling. For that matter, you can fit 31's and wheel it stock! :)

do whatever it takes to keep the Flatty! i would have to agree that a Toy would be a good way to go. you can get one for not too much coin and they run forever. I think you would regret getting rid of the jeep.

Don't even sell the flattie. You crazy?

Take the $2-3K you'd spend on some POS car, and dump it into a nice 4.3L EFI engine for your baby. Problem solved.

I just bought an 85 Toy that needs a motor. It'll be for sale as soon as i get a motor in it. I'm thinking around $3000. Reg cab, short bed, carb'ed 22r, 5 spd, 31's. E-mail me if interested. It'll give me a reason to get off my ass and fix it.

I own a toy and if I had to do a super cheap driver/wheeler I still say go Cherokee! Around here they are alot cheaper then toyotas, and they don't rust nearly as bad. Also think about it, coil front suspension, easily upgraded to dana 44 size U-joints in the front. If you don't want a hard core wheeler I would get a cherokee. A toyota however would be a better patform for a hardcore trail rig

I have a 1973 Scout II that I am selling. Not sure on the price, though. It has a 345 built with schneider cam, four barrel intake, stans headers, Holley 600 cfm. Autometer gauges and K&N airfilter. It runs. The rest is project material. I started to buuild it up when money ran short. It has a TF727, Dana 20 Transfercase and Dana 30 front, Dana 44 rear. Interior needs work. Body in god shape, some rust. E-mail me if interested.

i'd keep the willys and do like a long term project, just pick at it evey now and then, and if you need something to drive in the mean time get a Samurai, i'm on my 2nd. one and very happy with their preformance on and off-road.......and their very easy on gas, i put 10$ a for the weekend of playing and about 5-10$ a week for driving, and thats canadian money, so around 3-5 bucks US......

I cant get a scout cuz they suck gas and always brake down:D and I dont think I can keep this jepp guys, I cant afford it. I cant just put $2500 away and not think about it. A Trooper is indepentent suspension right? I cant afford to change that either. I think the best vehicle for me would be an 84 or 85 yota. I have to sell the jeep. I cant use my dads truck cuz hes gettin sick of me useing it and wont let my use it anymore. So I have to sell the jeep:eek: :( If you guys like it so much you should buy it:) Its in really good shape....Anyone?:)
