i used 20 oz in each 38x12.5r15 TSL.
Works good to 60mph or so.
Going to add more and see if I can get it to smooth out for highway use.

how about golf balls....6-9 of them. The MTR's have balanced fairly well. John
Edit...until the weights get ripped off!!!

i was going to use golf balls, but i heard bb's work better.... i was think around a pound a tire, although 20 oz is more than a pound, but i would think mtr's would balance easier then swampers... i drive around 70 on my trips to paragon, so i'd like them to be smooth as possable :) any more opinions on using bb's?

Just bought 2 cartons from wally world, 9 lb's to be exact. Gonna put about 1 1/2 lb. in each 38 sx , will let you know how it works.

Done, put right at 2lb's in each, it made a big difference, the death wobble is gone. Now thats at 20lb's tire pressure, street pressure. Can cruise at 65, much smoother. Now at 3 to 4lb's, not much help, yea I know to damn dangerous, but sometimes just getting to trail head, a mile or 2 was what I was after, with not having to fool with airing up or down. If your running big tires, on a DD, this does work. I'm running 38's on 15x10 champion's on a short arm, loosely lifted TJ. Hope this helps.

OK so I just read something about these BB's stopping death wobble. So dont flame me just yet, but what exactly are you guys doing? I think I may have gotten rid of my DW but just in case I would like another option.

There is many things that can cause DW, in my case it was the tires.
