i just got back from pismo, seemed most guys were running a regular knobby with a paddle on the rear. Why are some people scared to bring there bike to the sand? I hella wanted to bring my kx 250. my friends talked me out of it says it fawks it all up.

it will be fine as long as you keep your air filter spotless, also, SAND GETS EVERYWHERE:eek: after riding, you gotta take apart everything and clean and regrease it.all your linkage and bearings included. i dont care, my bike needs it so this is just more incentive to do a major overhaul on everything:D
come on guys keep the info coming. gotta know whether to order a tire or not

Whats up Guys. I live about ten min. from pismo. Its fine with a knobby on the front. Especially now when the sand is all tacky from the moisture. Pismo is awsome, Great jumps. Later
