So, I was in Napa this weekend for a wedding and we were at the rehearsal dinner at Compadres in Yountville. I see a couple guys in suits with ear pieces just like the secret service. We asked the waitress and she said they would only tell her that Dick Chenneys family was there. I looked for the VP but couldn't see him. I saw a total of 4 agents and one was a burly chick that looked pissed at the world. Never seen the secret service before and thought I'd share.

They stayed in the hotel I used to work at when Clinton was on his 96 re-election campaign. Came in a week early to set everything up for the president to come and speak at the Tacoma Dome parking lot next door. They ran in huge special phone cables from the street to accomodate their temporary headquarters in a set of suites.

I got a chance to check out the Presidential limo back when Reagan was Prez. They had the limo's there in advance and they were being stored at the airport fire department. Pretty impressive. The trunk of the second one was full of weapons, and mostly of the automatic variety.

My dad was an air traffic controler at an airport that Old George Bush was flying out of. I got to go up in the tower and watch him get on the plane, but lots of SS all around in the tower.

I work Security at Andrews AFB, most of the SS agents here are pretty cool, but don't mess around when they are doing their job, it is deadly serious to them.

The limo is cool, the airplane is cool, but some of the Secret Service agents equipment would blow your mind. They have called in stuff on the base, and to this day we don't know how they found it!!
