Juan,
Congratulations on being Numero Uno. And while we're on this topic, do you have a write-up on your solid axle conversion? Preferably one that's not in Spanish? :D
Best regards,
Kevin V

here's a visual for everyone.
the truck looks very well balanced with the front and rear flex being pretty evenly matched.
NICE!!!

From what i can tell from the pics, it looks he has modified the stock 4link rear. this is what i plan on doing when i do my sas this fall. i Plan on custom tall springs and getting the 3 trac bars extended plus adding flex joints. this trooper is the first one i've seen done before, anyone know why it wouldn't work? an english write up would be great ;) :p

here is a close up of the front SAS:

he used the stock rear coils on the front end w/ an FJ40 axle (lengthened to match rear axle)

Looks pretty good. What score does it get on the RTI? not that it really matters, i am just curious.

Measured perpendicular to the floor, it scores 705 on a 30 degree ramp and 1031 on a 20 degree ramp.
Measured perpendicular to the ramp, it scores 803 and 1175 respectively.
Locally we are debating which is the correct method  but it seems to be general consensus that the first is correct
JC
PS distances
trop gringo 234 (wheelbase)
165 (traveled along ramp paralel to grnd.)
188 (travelled along ramp)

No. You measure perpendicular to the ramp. The idea behind the RTI is that it compensates for wheelbase: Your RTI is simply the % of your wheelbase you can drive up the ramp. 1000 RTI means 100% of your wheelbase is on the ramp (If you drove onto the ramp forward, the back tire would be right at the start of the ramp). Measuring perpendicular to the GROUND artificially shortens your wheelbase a couple of inches, skewing the score. :)

Juan:
Are those Skyjacker suspension links, or custom links that just happen to be red with gold end links?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin V
