78 SII w/345,727,4.10 ,spool, detroit gearless,and 33's

wheelin' at Texas Pirate party and had front and rear in seperate crevises. perpindicular to truck. gave it the gas and no go. the trans worked fine going up,down,and off camber. engine reved to about 3k rpms. i had to saw the front back and forth to get out.

what the heck is going on? bad torque converter or cluthes/bands.

TRAVIS SSII, no, not Longhorn but Austin River Rats. btw, why havent i seen or met you at Katemcy? I have only seen 2 other Scouts out there. one was Dimitri(TX Scout) from Longhorn O.R. and some older guy (cant remeber his name) that helped winch my Scout II(BARNSTORMER) out of a bad spot. I cant remember who drives what j@@p, but i can remember who drives a Scout.

Not done yet......I have gone over and redone every system on the SSII. Just fuel ( Truck Advenger and fuel pump to the fuel cell) and then a recore and off I go........I'm poor (college) so it took awhile.
