Search wristed radius arms. You could always make yourself one, and if you hate it in two months, then have the ones with more bling made for you.

jeffseal 06-25-2003, 06:02 AM yeah the wristed arms are going to work for my aplication. i am doing an SAS on a ford explorer and the arms are going to be at 15 degrees instead of virtually parrallel with the ground so i was going to have the caster built into the arm.
welndmn 06-25-2003, 10:38 AM www.rockstomper.com will make you some
I would as well, but don't have the time, I could not do it for atlest 2 months :(
jeffseal 06-25-2003, 11:57 AM nope, he cant do them. anyone else know of anyone that has made a set of these?
buchvilleman 06-25-2003, 12:10 PM jeff,
have you asked coryl if he can make you some? i have no info and am just throwing the idea out as a shot in the dark. you know he has the skillz and is familiar with the ex. worth it ask IMO.
have a good one!
jeffseal 06-26-2003, 06:14 AM yeah i asked cory, he cant do them he is moving his shop
EBSTEVE 06-26-2003, 09:19 AM I could build you a set but I can't start untill July 14th (at the earliest I would not know for sure untill it gets closer but no later than July 21st). Are you doing the swap yourself or are you taking it to a shop to get it done?
jeffseal 06-26-2003, 01:19 PM i am doing everything myself except for these arms, i have never actually seen a set in person and i would rather spend the money to have a good set professionally made. have you ever made a set of these before? you have pics of your work?
Navajo1 06-26-2003, 02:38 PM What axle are you planning to use? Use BCBroncos kit and wrist the housing, pretty trick deal if you have an EB or 78-79 F150 Bronco 44.
jeffseal 06-27-2003, 06:44 AM that wont work either i am doing an sas on 95+ ford explorer and the frame doesnt have much bend in it up front so the arms will have to have alot of caster built into them or i will have to have some serious 7"+ drop brackets.
1uglyranger 06-27-2003, 09:43 AM What fun is a trail rig if it doesn't handle like a shopping cart:flipoff2:
welndmn 06-27-2003, 10:04 AM How about this idea, When you weld on the C's on the axle, weld them at the proper degree :p
1uglyranger 06-27-2003, 10:42 AM What if he's not movin the C's???
I didn't
Of course I run 7 degree c-bushings, and only have 1 degree of positive caster:D But who cares, when I did drive it, it drove straight, and stable. Caster is for sissies:flipoff2:
