A couple of weeks ago I posted that I had a problem with my battery draining very fast and also the electrical system killing 2 batteries (dead cells) Well I fixed it last week, the problem was an internal short within the starter. I replaced the starter with a new one, and put an Optima battery in her, and now she works like a champ.

Sweet, good to hear that ya got your drain fixed. I've got a slow drain (takes about 3 days to kill a battery) but got sick of lookin for it and jumping the Cruiser evertime I didn't drive it for 3 days so I installed one of them positive post disconnector thingies that you can get at Napa. Works like a charm, and might even slow a thief down by .0000000000001th of a second :D

btw Jeff here has just displayed top notch BB edicate by posting an update on the situation that he was askin for feedback from us on. You see that way folks can find out if their idea or suggestion or 5-10 mins of typin worked in theory or practice. A quick update or a little recognition from time to time keeps some folks from gettin burnt and not answering the tech questions that pop up every week or so.
-Just food for thought for the new guys :D
