JasonTJ 10-01-2001, 10:17 AM I just sold a stock NP231 with 30k on it for $300, so I would say 600 max with the shafts
Adam Ant 10-01-2001, 01:17 PM I bought One from Kieth strong For Another Guy And Paid 350 With the SYE and had Been Rebuilt And Had Low Mileage
RYJAY 10-01-2001, 02:45 PM I just bought mine...
np231, currie sye, and rear cv shaft for $400 canadian
i think all of these are pretty good deals though
a junkyard wanted between $700-900 for just a stock t-case
that seems a little crazily high but i'm sure if you hung on to it someone would pay that outta despiration

Then someone probably gets what they deserve. JB Conversions is selling 231 tcases with the SYE installed, larger synchro, and a 231D chain and sprocket set for $750. ALL NEW PARTS.
I just replaced my tcase with the JB. Used tcases for $500 and up? BS. Not in my book anymore.

Johann 10-02-2001, 08:00 AM I'd give you $350 for just the case tomorrow if it has the same input spline count as my '93 XJ. I have been kicking myself for not acting on Keith's Tcase. Didn't have the cash then, Do now

Duffy Ladd 10-02-2001, 09:16 AM I have a T case out of a 93 6cyl YJ still attached to an AX 15 but will seperate it if you like. What count is the output shaft you need or is it the input shaft?

Johann 10-04-2001, 07:32 AM Didn't mean to turn this into a want add
I'm looking for a low mile tcase with SYE so that I can turn my OEM case into a spare. Slowly gathering all drivetrain parts so that all I have to do is R&R if one goes bad.
Is the case from the '93 YJ the one with the Currie SYE? I'm mating to a '93 AX-15 XJ tranny. I'll have to research the spline count, but I would think they were the same.
Let me know what you need for the case maybe we can work something out.

Do a 4:1 and 2wlow while you at it.
Course if he does a 4:1 at the same time it doesn't matter what spline count it has now.
Duffy Ladd 10-04-2001, 07:38 PM The NP231 t-case out of the 93 YJ is already mated to an AX-15. It is stock with 30K miles on it. The NP231 T-case with the SYE kit on it is out of a 2000 TJ with only 3000 miles on it and has both F&R CV driveshafts. I'd take $300 for the 93 and $600 for the 2000.

TmbrRtlr 10-04-2001, 08:11 PM Question!! WHat does a person need to upgrade to the NP231D chain?? I have a JB SYE on order and figure as long as the t-case is apart it shouldn't take much to install the larger parts. May as well upgrade the parts now rather than have to replace the whole case later.

Johann 10-08-2001, 08:25 AM Duffster, I'm going to have to pass. I've got a functioning OEM Tcase and the other one needs to go to someone that needs TJ driveshafts.
Thanks anyway,
Johann
Duffy Ladd 10-08-2001, 05:08 PM No problem give me a heads up if things change
