not that bad, just not that popular and not as much after market availible. you would be better off with a sixty. lots of cheap parts and the can be bought dirt cheap. mike

I thought you all might say that. I would love a D60 but I found this axle and the pumkin is already offset to fit the stock cruiser t-case. I would like to keep the original t-case but still upgrade the axles. The axle is already loaded with aftermarket parts so i wouldnt have to get many. what do you guys think i should do?:(

It is a very strong axle. Gear choices are limited, lowest is 4.56.

It has C Clips, that slightly sucks, just make sure you run disc brakes to keep the axle in if you break it.

Ring gear is slightly smaller than the Cruiser, but the pinion is stronger.

Powertrax makes a locker for it...Detroit does too. Auburn makes a Limited Slip as does Trash Lock.

My question is what axle has an offset pumpkin to match the Cruiser Transfer case?

I really don't see any reason to do this over a Cruiser unless it is a good deal wider and that is what you are looking for.

Ok so if i get disc brakes on it them im ok? It already has a locker and 4.56's in it so dont have to worry about that. Unless they are crap which i hope they arent. Why do you say "I really don't see any reason to do this over a Cruiser unless it is a good deal wider and that is what you are looking for." They are wider, they are full width.:D Let me know why you say that.:)

I said that because it is not an upgrade in my opinion over a Cruiser axle, unless you are getting a wider axle.

You are, so it is.

Finally, what did this come out of with an offset pumpkin??

The guy that has them for sale got them from a guy who had them on his cruiser and the guy selling the now was going to put them on his cruiser but has to pay for some stuff. Does this make since? I think he said it came out of a dodge.:barf:
